Though it seems we will have a few more weeks before we can resume in-person touch services, there is still a great deal of work that I am doing to prepare for that wonderful day. I must say, this is not at all how I envisioned continuing to make progress. However, I am very excited about the many wonderful changes and improvements that are coming with the next Grand Opening of Smooth Solutions.
I have taken this unexpected time away from the treatment room and turned it in to an opportunity for growth and development. I have committed to and completed several awesome continuing education and certification courses in everything from skin health, skin disease and disorders and of course, skin care and advanced treatment protocols for all skin types and conditions. I have updated my sanitation certifications with Barbicide, in addition to getting Clean Touch Certified, through Dermalogica. There are even a few more amazing opportunities I will be taking advantage of before the close of the month!
I have joined the the Michigan Association of Beauty Professionals (MABP), the Esthetics Council, renewed my membership with Associated Skin Care Professionals (ASCP) and have begun the process to become NCEA certified (nationally recognized accreditation for Estheticians). My affiliation with these organizations has provided me access to top professionals in the industry, an abundance of incredible higher learning opportunities and has given me the opportunity to contribute my voice to the efforts of providing safe, if not better practices and procedures in the post pandemic treatment room.
With great education, enhanced/improved skills and techniques, as well as the introduction of new technology and modalities, I am making some much needed changes and improvements to the service menu. I realize that the menu is a bit bulky as it is, so I will be making efforts to streamline for a better client experience. Please, do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions. I do want to assure you, I am not eliminating the services you have come to enjoy, nor will I be raising the price of those services. I will be offering you new and different options to enhance and upgrade your experience and results.
I would also like to take this opportunity to again say thank you. I am beyond grateful for the incredible kindness and support I have received! It is truly and deeply appreciated.
